This is the place to leave short announcements regarding upcoming events, collaborations, elections, task forces, new or revived projects, and other information for the "WikiProject News" subsection.

  • I am currently doing what I can to revive Wikipedia:WikiProject The Rolling Stones since discovering it last night while updating/creating [[Mick Jagger] related articles (of songs) and updating Rolling Stones related article Exile on Main St. (rewrote intro due to grammar issues). Both Rolling Stones and their related pages appear to be active according to their edit histories and I encourage editors involved with the topic to assist me in this. --TheSandDoctor (talk) 19:54, 3 April 2017 (UTC)

Call for interviews

  1. First, at an open Workspace page below, reserve an open workspace page for your interview questions. Do this by updating the Workspace wikitable.
  2. At your reserved Workspace page, prepare questions for the WikiProject members to be interviewed.
  3. Next, see the Template page below. At the template's subpage, copy and paste at the destination WikiProject's talk page (new section).
  4. At the destination WikiProject's talk page, change the WikiProject xxxxxxx to the correct WP name.
  5. At the destination WikiProject's talk page, add your signature to the new Call for interviews with ~~~~. Do not sign below.
  6. Add the destination WikiProject to your watchlist to check for responses.

To conduct interviews, use one of the following workspace (#1 - 8) pages.

For each person taking part in the interview, post on their talk page a wikilink to their assigned workspace, and add their names to the User column below. There is a pre-formatted notification template for you to copy-and-paste to the interviewee's talk page. Remember to change the wikilink to the correct Workspace number for their WikiProject, and to add your signature with ~~~~ at the bottom.
