I'm looking to create a template for the entries in this page: James Spence Medal, and to provide some logical groups for List of places in Highland (council area), e.g. villages in a particular area, which I have still to be decided on. If there is somebody on hand who can create an box for the James Spence medal folk, that would handy, as well. It a fairly simple name listing. Thanks. scope_creep (talk) 08:58, 13 July 2018 (UTC)

Comment @Scope creep: Template editor permission isn't needed to create new templates, only to edit certain templates that have been specifically protected. Any autoconfirmed user (like you) can create templates. This also isn't the place to request new templates, those requests should be done at Wikipedia:Requested templates. --Ahecht (TALK

Not done This flag will not help you create new templates. — xaosflux Talk 14:25, 13 July 2018 (UTC)
Hi xaosflux. How are you? Coolio. Its been bothering me for a while, but now I can crank them out, as per. Its curious, but I found the requested template noticeboard after a search. I was at the Graphics labs this morning, and thought there might be a place for template requests, did a search and lo and behold. I've left a request for the James Spence medal folk template, but I'll think I'll create it myself. Thanks. This can be closed. scope_creep (talk) 14:45, 13 July 2018 (UTC)
