  • Xi Bai Pao: Wang Er Xiao this was added to Netflix as seen here which says:
    • 2013 TV-PG 1h 25m
A 13-year-old boy whose parents are killed in the Second Sino-Japanese War finds vengeance as a key player in the village resistance.
Starring: Yang Li, Chunyan Liu, Hao Dong
Genres: Action & Adventure, International Action & Adventure, Asian Action Movies, Military Action & Adventure, Adventures, Adult Animation, International Movies, Chinese Movies
      Director: Shi Yi
    • It would belong in Category:Second Sino-Japanese War films. I watched it and Xi Bai Pao is the name of the village (captions spell it Xi Baipo) and Wang Er Xiao (usually just called Er Xiao throughout the film, Wang is his surname shared with grandmother) is the hero. At the end of 29th_Golden_Rooster_Awards#Winners_and_nominees under "Best Animation", Xi Baipo II: The Hero Wang Erxiao is listed in 2nd place after The Ultimate Task, so Erxiao or Wang Erxiao could be alternate spellings. If this was based on a real historical hero, I haven't been able to find an English article on them.
    • Requested articles/Arts and entertainment/Film, radio and television on IMDb uses "2" in the heading Xi Bai Po 2: Wang Er Xiao but the title card does not use Xi Bai Po 2 or Xi Bai Po II. Date given is 26 May 2013. Not sure what 1st movie (if there is one) is about, presumably some hero other than Erxiao.

Webcomics

Housepets! is a thrice-weekly Web comic produced by Rick Griffin (with no relation to Richard Alden Griffin whatsoever, nor inspiration). The story revolves around Peanut Butter and Grape Jelly Sandwich and other pets living in Babylon Gardens, a pet-friendly neighborhood. But sometimes Slice-of-Life isn't enough, cause in this world (or rather, the next) there are Celestial Beings who spice the plot up with all kinds of Supernatural adventures. Mainly these types of adventures feature human-turned-dog; King and his best friend Fox. Official site of Housepets! webcomic
