The 1956 United States presidential election in Michigan was held on November 6, 1956. Michigan voters chose twenty electors to the Electoral College, who voted for president and vice president.

Republican Party candidate Dwight D. Eisenhower won the state with 56% of the popular vote, winning Michigan's twenty electoral votes.[3]

During his first term as president, he moved his private residence to Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, and officially changed his residency to Pennsylvania.
