For the layout used see WikiProject French départements and its talk page. -- User:Docu

The revised layout is based on that of the latest version of the fr: template. -- Picapica 23:30, 26 November 2005 (UTC)

The revised template is far too heavy. I am reverting to the previous one. olivier 06:31, 28 November 2005 (UTC)

Hmm: I think you forgot to include the words "in my view". The trouble with the old layout, for me, is that it was a fat lot of use as a navigation aid to anyone unfamiliar with the official numbering system for the départements.

I thought fr:Modèle:FranceDep not only neat but much more informative and easily navigable, myself. But since it's Templates Lite you hanker for: how about my revision Mark II? At the very least, I don't think we can dispense with the names of the départements. Numbers alone is just too anorexic, à mon avis. -- Picapica 23:17, 29 November 2005 (UTC)
