Sofyan Amrabat (Arabic: سفيان أمرابط‎; born 21 August 1996) is a Dutch-born Moroccan footballer who played for Feyenoord and FC Utrecht. In the summer of 2018 he moved to Club Brugge as a midfielder. He formerly played for FC Utrecht.

International career

Netherlands youth team

Amrabat was born in the Netherlands to parents of Moroccan descent. He first represented the Netherlands U15 team.[2]

Morocco

Amrabat later represented the Morocco national under-17 football team at the 2013 FIFA U-17 World Cup.[3] He made his senior debut for the Morocco national football team in a 1–0 friendly win over Tunisia.[4][5]

In May 2018 he was named in Morocco’s 23-man squad for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.[6]
