The Robert Morris Colonials women's basketball team is the basketball team that represents Robert Morris University in Moon Township, Pennsylvania, United States. The school's team currently competes in the Northeast Conference.[2]


The Colonials began play in 1976. As of the end of the 2015-16 season, they have an all-time record of 515-557. They have played in the ECAC Metro Conference/Northeast Conference since 1986. They have lost in the First Round each time in the four NCAA Tournaments they have played in, losing 84-52 to NC State, 85-42 to Rutgers, 93-42 to Notre Dame and 101-49 to Connecticut. They have also appeared in the WNIT in 2010 and the WBI in 2012.[3][4]
