Kondattam (English : Celebration) is a Tamil language drama film released in 1998. It starred Arjun and Simran Bagga in the lead roles. The film was an average hit at the box office. The film was dubbed in Telugu as Raakumarudu.[1]

The film was developed with the working title of Uthama Puthiran, before the team changed title. Sivaji Ganesan was initially considered to play the patriarchal head of the family, though his unavailability meant that Gemini Ganesan was selected instead.[2]
