JK Lakshmipat University (JKLU) was established in Jaipur, the capital city of Rajasthan, in the year 2011. The curriculum and pedagogy of the university emphasises experiential learning through projects. The University is sponsored by the JK Organisation, an Indian industrial conglomerate with a 125 year history of philanthropy and nation building.


The university provides various undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral degrees.[citation needed] It has two well-established institutes, IET (Institute of Engineering & Technology) and IM (Institute of Management),[citation needed] and an Institute of Design is being launched in 2019. .[citation needed]
