Hebrews 10 is the tenth chapter of the Epistle to the Hebrews in the New Testament of the Christian Bible.[1][2] The name of the author is unknown, but it is known to be a man and a friend of Saint Timothy, based on the text in this book.[3][4]

The New King James Version organises this chapter as follows:

  • Hebrews 10:1-4 = Animal Sacrifices Insufficient
  • Hebrews 10:5-10 = Christ’s Death Fulfills God’s Will
  • Hebrews 10:11-18 = Christ’s Death Perfects the Sanctified
  • Hebrews 10:19-25 = Hold Fast Your Confession

Verse 10

New King James Version

By that will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.[5]

Verse 14

For by one offering He has perfected forever those who are being sanctified.[6][7]
