Episkopi (Greek: Επισκοπή; Turkish: Yalova) is a village lying partly in the Limassol district of Cyprus and partly in the British Overseas Territory of Akrotiri and Dhekelia. It is approximately 14 km (9 mi) west of Limassol and 40 km (25 mi) east of Paphos. Episkopi is built on the hill of ancient Kourion, close to the western bank of the Kouris River.

Culture, sports, and tourism

Turkish Cypriot Yalova Sports Club was founded in 1957, and now in Cyprus Turkish Football Association (CTFA) K-PET 1st League.[2]

The current mosque was formerly the Byzantine Church of Ayios Georgios (Άγιος Γεώργιος).[3]
