Dippy

Dippy is the name given to versions of Diplodocus dinosaur casts and statues displayed around the world.

  • Dippy (London) is a cast of a Diplodocus, unveiled in 1905 and displayed from 1979 to 2017 in the Hintze Hall, the central entrance hall of the Natural History Museum, in London, England.
  • Dippy (Pittsburgh) is a 1999 public sculpture of a Diplodocus at the Carnegie Institute and Library in Oakland, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, United States.
