Deana Uppal (born 30 January 1989) is a beauty pageant titleholder[2] and business entrepreneur. She was the Winner of Miss India UK 2012. She was one of the Housemates of Big Brother 13 (UK). She is one of the contestants of Fear Factor, Khatron ke Khiladi 5.[3]She has featured in various movies. Deana currently runs a number of businesses under DKU World.

Personal life

She was Born in Middlesbrough. She moved to the Midlands when she was 12. Her father died from cancer when she was a child. She has no siblings.[3]

Big Brother 13

She Participated in Big Brother 13 (UK) in 2012.[4] On Day 1, Deana entered the house along with fifteen other housemates. She was randomly selected by Big Brother to be the first housemate to enter the house, and had to nominate three of the other housemates in front of them in exchange for immunity from the public eviction. On Day 70, Deana left the house in 3rd place. Deana received the most nominations of the entire series, and survived the highest number of evictions.

Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi

Deana was a contestant on the fifth season of the Indian stunt/dare reality game show, Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi.

Bollywood: Yeh Hai India

Deana will be playing the main lead. Her role thinks India is shabby and polluted. But her visit to India and her interactions with people and situations completely transform her opinion about India. Eventually, she falls in love with India. Yeh hai India will be directed by Lomharsh under the banner Dlb Films Pvt. ltd.

Deana played the main lead in UK Brit movie Born to be King. Released throughout UK and Punjab.

Bollywood: Hard Kaur

In the Punjabi Movie Hard Kaur, Deana plays the main lead in a strong female role. Named as Sirat Kaur she is a simple village girl that has to deal with harassment. The storyline revolves around how Sirat along with four other Sikh girls come together and raise voice against these injustices. Hard Kaur is the first Punjabi female orientated Punjabi movie. Alongside Deana, as the main lead instead of the norm having a male lead, there is award-winning veteran actress Nirmal Rishi.
