The Australian Women's Sevens is an annual women's rugby sevens tournament, currently hosted in Sydney as one of the stops on the World Rugby Women's Sevens Series. Australia joined for the fifth edition of the series. The tournament moved from the Sydney Football Stadium[1] to the Sydney Showground Stadium after the 2017–18 series, a move made necessary by the then-impending closure of the Football Stadium for demolition and rebuilding.[2]
