Attacks

Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen Bangladesh, a Bangladeshi Islamist terrorist organization, carried out attacks on the early 2000s in public places in Bangladesh. The bomb was placed in Roxy Cinema hall and inside a Circus tent in Satkhira District on 28 September 2002. Three people died in the explosion and 100 injured.[4][5] Similar attacks took place in Mymensingh in the 2002 Mymensingh cinema bombing.[6] The first bomb went off in the cinema hall and within minutes the bomb in the circus went off.[7] Time bombs were used in the explosion.[8]
