125 Greenwich Street (also known under the name of 22 Thames Street) is a residential supertall skyscraper being built in the Financial District, Manhattan, New York City, designed by architect Rafael Viñoly. It is across the street from the construction site of 5 World Trade Center, at 130 Liberty Street. Apartment interiors are by British design duo March & White.

Overview

The residential tower on Greenwich Street will be located in the Financial District neighborhood of Lower Manhattan. In September 2014, it was announced that the tower would stand 1,356 feet (413 m), with 77 floors, and a total of 128 residential units.[2]

As of 2017, these figures were revised to 912 feet (278 m), with 88 floors and 273 units, according to The New York Times.[3] The foundation of the building was completed in June 2016.[4]

The skyscraper is located two blocks south of One World Trade Center. 125 Greenwich Street is directly across Greenwich from the site of the Deutsche Bank Building, which was demolished in 2011. Five World Trade Center will take its place.

The new building will have distinctly rounded corners with curved floor-to-ceiling glass. It will be crowned by three-stories of amenities space including entertainment space, private dining rooms, a fitness center, lap pool, and a spa.
